M ise en abyme’ is a Sci-Fi short film inspired by some novels of the American writer Philip K. Dick. The title “Mise en abyme”, literary “placed into the abyss”, refers to the concept of Chinese Boxes: every world is contained within a superior one. The film has been released in 2018. All the post production phase lasts one year to be completed.

A n eccentric and aristocratic gentleman devotes most of his time to a bizarre activity. Obsessed by beauty, he wanders everyday in the wood nearby the city, hunting the most rare butterflies. Once captured, he frames them and put in a massive and disturbing collection.
